The new DT Swiss F 232 One fork ($1,550, ogc.ca) is designed for the demands of modern XC racing. Using what the company calls topology optimization, it has carefully removed unnecessary material with a series of asymmetric webs from the cast magnesium lowers, resulting in improved stiffness and reduced weight. The fork’s spring curve has also been specifically tuned for XC riding. For even more on-trail control, the F 232 One features an Incontrol threeposition damper that is compatible with a remote lockout lever. For those looking for even more trail-specific tuning options, the fork allows riders to adjust the air-spring curve by adding or removing spacers in the fork’s air chamber.
