La Planche des Belles Filles

This is Thibaut Pinot’s stomping grounds. A ski station in the Vosges, la Planche des Belles Filles is supposed to be the setting of the final GC showdown of the 2020 Tour in the form of a Stage 20 time trial. As a summit finish, it has been used only four times. In 2019, Dylan Teuns and Giulio Ciccone topped off their breakaway on la Planche with a stage victory for Teuns and yellow for Ciccone. Bradley Wiggins also pulled on yellow in 2012 after finishing behind winning teammate Chris Froome atop la Planche des Belles Filles.
