Bontrager’s Wavecel technology has made it to new helmets, including the Starvos road lid. Wavecel debuted in early 2019 and added more protection to the company’s helmets. It’s a latticework in the helmet that manages the energy of a crash, and thus protects your head better than a typical helmet.
