LET’S FIND MORE WAYS TO USE LESS FUEL
Today, we’re not only working to find more energy, we are helping inspire ways to use less. That’s why for over 25 years, the Shell Eco-marathon has been challenging schools and universities around the world to design, build and test ultra-energy efficient vehicles. In 2015, the University of Toronto’s Supermileage team achieved the equivalent of 1,434 kilometres per litre with their prototype vehicle “UT3”. This spirit of innovation keeps spreading. In 2016, Shell Eco-marathon will return to Detroit, Michigan, a city with a history of mobility engineering and innovation, and an ideal place to drive the world further toward a sustainable energy future.
