AMERICAN LOBSTER

This tasty Canadian Maritime staple first appeared in Iceland in the 1960s before spreading to the Baltic Sea and the English Channel, where American lobsters now compete with native European lobsters. They may also act as a host and transport for other nonnative parasitic crustaceans.
