The name of a new marine protected area that comprises 2,400 square kilometres in the Beaufort Sea, near Paulatuk, N.W.T. The area is important habitat for Arctic char, cod, beluga whales, polar bears and ringed and bearded seals, and home to the only thick-billed murre colony in the western Canadian Arctic.
