The mayor of Billings Township is Austin Hunt. He’s 91 years old and has been the mayor almost non-stop since 1950. He was Lester B. Pearson’s campaign manager when the prime minister represented Algoma East (which includes Manitoulin Island) from 1948 to 1968.
