RCGS WOMEN LEADERS GO TO SEA

For In­ter­na­tional Women’s Day, on March 8, the Royal Cana­dian Navy brought a group of 20 women civil­ians on board the frigate HMCS St. John’s at Hal­i­fax. The visit was one of the navy’s multi-day Cana­dian Lead­er­ship at Sea pro­grams, which show­case navy ac­tiv­i­ties, the crew’s ser­vice and life at sea. Of this group of business, aca­demic and gov­ern­ment leaders, seven were RCGS Fel­lows ( ABOVE, left to right): Ja­nis Pe­leshok, Les­ley War­ren, Jean Mar­moreo, Anne Fitzger­ald, Claudia Hep­burn, Wendy Ce­cil and Claire Kennedy.
