HOLIDAY BAKING TIPS

-

1INGREDIENT CHECK: Pick up fresh spices and herbs for your holiday baking—they usually have a shelf life of six months, so if you haven’t used your nutmeg since last year, get shopping.

2MEASURE SMART: When baking, it’s important to have accurate measurements—which is why we recommend spraying your measuring cup with non-stick spray before measuring out your honey. You’ll love how easily the honey slides into your bowl, and you’ll know you’re getting every last drop.

3GET FROZEN: Prep your cookies ahead of time, wrap them in plastic and freeze, then pull them out when you’re ready to bake. For cakes and muffins, bake and let them cool completely before wrapping and freezing.

4HANDS OFF: We know it’s tempting to open that oven—the delicious smell alone is temptation enough! But keep the oven door closed and your hands to yourself—until it’s time for a post-bake taste-test, of course.
