On the Run in… Fredericton, N.B.

Where to hit the trails, trounce some hills and find a craft brew in New Brunswick’s picturesque capital

- By Peter Speight

As the provincial capital of New Brunswick, the city of Fredricton is an important cultural and commercial centre of the region. But it ’s also a beautiful place to go for a run. Many of the best routes and trails through this city of about 70,000 follow the Saint John river, which divides the city in two and injects a stunning natural quality to an otherwise well-developed area.
