Suunto pitches the 9 as built to last, and they ain’t kidding.
Made with serious endurance athletes in mind, like the kind who run 100-mile trail races, the Suunto 9 has 120 hours of recording time with GPS tracking when in Ultra battery conservation mode. The watch is also extremely accurate in tracking and recording your progress via Suunto’s FusedTrack distance and motion-sensing software. Suunto’s Movescount software also allows you to fully customize what activity you want to track based on a wide variety of performance metrics.
The 9 also comes paired with the updated Suunto app to store and access all of your data under one roof, along with extra goodies like sleep tracking, longterm activity trends, as well as incoming calls, messages and notifications to your watch.
