The de­sired adap­ta­tion cre­ated by a pro­gres­sive run­ning and weight lift­ing rou­tine will ul­ti­mately re­sult in a stronger, faster and more re­silient run­ner. Seek help from a pro­fes­sional strength coach or per­sonal trainer and fo­cus on low reps with heavy weight to max­i­mize strength gained.
