The newest addition to the Finnish fitness company’s collection, the Suunto 7 has many features to satisfy runners of every level. This smartwatch pairs easily with your phone, and is easy to navigate, reliable and fun to use, and you can start a workout with just a couple of taps. Navigating the functions is done by swiping rather than a back button (which make take some getting used to if you’re accustomed to a back button). Off line maps and heatmaps are a cool new feature, but be aware you’ll need to charge the watch every night. Speaking of navigation, the Suunto 7 enables four different positioning systems, with reasonably accurate gps. The FusedSpeed feature calculates running speed via wrist acceleration as well as gps, for a more accurate running speed. This watch is highly durable, and we loved the large, highly readable screen.
