POLAR VANTAGE V

-

The Polar Vantage V has been tested by the military in low-pressure, extreme heat and cold conditions, as well as athletes working out, so you know it’s durable. The most intriguing feature of the Vantage V is its podless power metre. Until recently, training with power was something only cyclists did, but monitoring power while running is becoming more and more popular, and the Vantage V will keep you posted on your wattage throughout every workout. The battery lasts several days in continuous heartrate-monitoring mode (which is better than some of its competitors), and the scrolland-tap interface becomes more intuitive the more you use it, though some users may not like having both a touchscreen and five buttons. With no fewer than nine sensors, it may offer the most accurate wrist-based heartrate monitoring on the market. Sleep, recovery and cardio load data are useful, even if the watch is not as customizable as some of its competitors.
