Some­times, as adults, we crave kids’ menu din­ner items, like hot, crispy chicken ten­ders, creamy, de­li­cious mac and cheese, que­sadil­las, cheese pizza and spaghetti (and pan­cakes for break­fast). Th­ese dishes still elicit as much ex­cite­ment as they did when we were five. We’ve given a few of th­ese clas­sics a fresh twist, to make them a lit­tle more nu­tri­tious for run­ners, and even more de­li­cious.
