3x3x3 Dumbbell Workout

Running daily can be exhausting, and hitting the weights might be the last thing on your mind. If you’re like me, you’d probably appreciate shorter weight workouts done more often throughout the week, versus one or two longer weight workouts. To overcome the strength-training hurdle, I’ve designed three short workouts, in which you’ll perform three sets of three exercises. They require two dumbbells. Perform each workout, which takes about 20 minutes, once a week after a run. Take minimal rest between sets.

The formula is easy to remember: three workouts a week, three exercises per workout, three sets for each exercise.
