When it comes to protecting pollinators, Cory Sheffield, researcher and curator at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, has a bee in his bonnet.

With two types named after him — Lasioglossum sheffieldi and Mexalictus sheffieldi — Sheffield speaks up for bees everywhere: “The public needs to fully understand the threats to pollinators… There are so many.”
