Sometimes you just need a long walk to clear your head. Within its massive 1,100 hectares near Hamilton, you’ll enjoy meandering the paths at the Royal Botanical Gardens and exploring the stunning formal beds of roses, peonies, native plants and ornamental grasses. Don’t forget to visit the arboretum, nature interpretive centre, indoor exhibits and theme gardens such as the delightful imagination grove or medieval garden. After you’ve explored the gardens, continue on to any of the many trails in three sanctuaries, part of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve.
