A new department focusing on stunning wildlife photos from remote locations. This issue: Hudson Bay

Perched on a cliff ledge on East Digges Island, Nunavut, hundreds of metres above Hudson Bay, photograph­er Neil Ever Osborne captured this remarkable image. It is of one of the world’s largest nesting colonies of thickbille­d murre (Uria lomvia), a type of auk also known as Brünnich’s guillemots.
