Too many peo­ple vis­it­ing parks?

Canada’s beau­ti­ful na­tional and pro­vin­cial parks are some of the coun­try’s jew­els. But so­cial me­dia is help­ing make them too fa­mous for their own good. Once-lit­tle-known parks like Jof­fre Lakes pro­vin­cial park in Bri­tish Columbia have had an in­flux of vis­i­tors thanks to their In­sta­grammable views. Lo­cal gov­ern­ments are call­ing for more money to man­age parks and cre­ate more recre­ation des­ti­na­tions to spread vis­i­tors over larger ar­eas.
