MAKING WAVES FOR OCEAN CONSERVATION

Last year, more than 20,000 CWF supporters signed our petition urging the federal government to move Canada away from single-use plastics. Our voices have been heard and in recent months the Government has announced significant international commitments to reduce ocean pollution and reduce our reliance on single-use plastics. CWF was also proud to be part of the announcement of the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition at the G7 meeting in Halifax. Find out more about this innovative new coalition at Canadianoceanliteracycoalition.ca.

FULFILLING A CHILD’S WISH FOR WILDLIFE

The holiday season is a time for children and CWF’S “Holiday Wishes” hopes to make to make a child’s wish for a brighter future for wildlife come true. From more trees for birds to live in to less plastic in our oceans, these are the kind of wishes that can only come true with your help. For more details visit www.giveagifttowildlife.org.

ADOPTING AN ANIMAL

So easy to love. So hard to choose. The CWF Adopt-an-animal program includes our family of adorable, plush and playful animal species, each with its own adoption papers and an informative booklet. Proceeds help support CWF species at risk initiatives. Choose one or the entire family—they make a great gift for the conservation lover in your life. Get yours at https://shopcwf.ca.
