CONGRATULATIONS WILLOWBROOK NURSERIES!

CWF would like to congratulate Willowbrook Nurseries, our nursery partner on the CWF line of Medallion Pollinator Plants and WILD About Birds trees and shrubs, for recently receiving the “Environmental Award” from Home Depot Canada. The Fenwick, Ontario nursery received the award from the retail giant for their ongoing effort in expanding the pollinator program into Home Depot locations across the country. Way to go Willowbrook!

GET WILD ABOUT BIRDS

New for 2019, CWF introduces the WILD About Birds tree and shrub collection. These trees and shrubs are chosen specifically for the benefits they offer to Canada’s declining bird populations. They join the CWF line of Medallion Pollinator Plant kits as a way to grow wildlife-friendly gardens. Both are available exclusively at participating Home Depot locations across Canada. Plant them this spring and you could qualify for official CWF Garden Habitat Certification. JOIN THE CHORUS

Every spring, many Canadians hear a loud chorus coming from wet areas… This noise, which sounds a bit like someone is running a fingernail on the teeth of a comb, is made by chorus frogs. Discover these frogs with the new video series from Hinterland Who’s Who at www.hww.ca!
