GLACE BAY — The Glace Bay Junior Miners hope to ride the momentum of a six-game winning streak into Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League action this weekend.

Ryan Bursey, a second-year forward on the team, leads the Junior Miners in scoring with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points. However, it’s been a balanced attack for the Glace Bay squad. The Junior Miners have 13 players who have reached double digits in points.

The goaltending tandem of veteran Scott MacDonald and rookie Nicholas Walsh have split duties between the pipes and has become one of the top tandems in the league.
