HOCKEY: Cape Breton Tradesmen spring camp registrati­on, Wednesday and Friday, 7-9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Tradesmen office at Centre 200. Cost is $160. For more informatio­n, call Aaron Rice at 371-2560. • The Breton Sport and Trophy Cougars major bantam hockey team will register players for spring camp today and Wednesday at Emera Centre Northside from 6-8 p.m. On Saturday, players may be registered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Breton Sport and Trophy, 14 Maple St., Sydney. All players of bantam age for the 2014-15 season and currently registered with Hockey Nova Scotia are eligible to register for spring camp. Summer camp will be by invitation only and is based on player evaluation­s from spring camp. Cost to register is $160. Draw to win free registrati­on for 2014-15 season. • Sydney Xtreme Hockey spring league. Ten full ice, fiveon-five games guaranteed. All games will be played at the Canada Games Complex. League is open to all players of all skill levels from all minor hockey associatio­ns. Space still available in novice and peewee divisions. BASEBALL: Sydney Minor Baseball registrati­on, Tuesday to Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Southend Community Centre in Sydney. T-Ball $70; rookie and mosquito $90; family rate $135. All players must purchase $20 each of tickets at the time of registrati­on. Cash or cheque only. Call for coaches, umpires, and volunteers to help with the season. SOCCER: Whitney Pier Soccer registrati­on, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Polish Village Hall. Bring your child's health card. Next registrati­on will be on April 16, 6-9 p.m., at the Polish Village Hall. This is for all soccer programs.

DARTS: The annual Silver Darts Tournament will be April 26 at the Westside Legion. The day begins at 10 a.m. with a captain's meeting. Cost is $50 per team. Phone 562-6073 to enter.

FISHING: Albert Bridge Recreation Associatio­n 18th annual Trout Fishing Derby, May 10, Tank Pond in Mira Gut, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For those 17 and under.
