It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter Campbell on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

Born in Main- a- Dieu, he was the son of the late Colin and Isabel (Locke) Campbell.

Peter, an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed the simple things in life. He lived life for his family, and was known for his kindness and generosity to others. He was the father every child deserves.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife, Anita; three daughters, Tonia (Daniel), Bermuda, Sharon (Fred), Ottawa and Angela (Peter), Sydney; and grandchild­ren, Victoria, Cody, Adrianna, Sydney, Samantha, and Michael. He is also survived by brothers, Jimmy, Joey ( Yvonne), Robbie (Loretta), Andrew (Anna Mae), Victor (Donna), Tommy (Gwen), Frank (Peggy), Selby (Melba), Raymond ( Joanne), John Hugh (Colleen), Keith (Roseanne) and Garfield (Tammy) and sisters, Theresa, Margie, Georgina and Alice.

Peter was predecease­d by brothers, Gregory, Stephen, Gene David and Colin; sisters, Ada, Pauline and Melvina; and grandson, Ryan.

In celebratio­n of Peter’s life, a memorial service will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church on Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m., with Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiatin­g. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
