RCMP report that the vehicle driven by Morgan was stopped late last week in Baddeck on suspicion of an impaired driver.

After searching the vehicle, RCMP seized one kilogram of cocaine and 5.5 kilograms of marijuana along with a unspecified amount of money.

Among the conditions of his release, Morgan is not allowed to possess any firearms, he must refrain from all drugs not prescribed to him by a doctor, he must abide by a curfew and report, by phone, to RCMP once a week.

Morgan is scheduled to return to court March 16 to enter pleas to the charges.
