Sydney pair to enter pleas on drug charges
SYDNEY — Two Sydney residents are expected back in provincial court next month to enter pleas on drug charges.
Jalisa Gwendalyn Anderson, 28, and Gerald John Deveaux, 29, both of Carroll Crescent, are each charged with two counts of possession involving marijuana and oxycodone along with a single count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.
The offences allegedly occurred Dec. 9 in Sydney.
After a brief provincial court appearance Monday, the two are now scheduled to return to court March 23 to enter pleas.
They continue their release on conditions.
