Eskasoni

With great sadness, we regret to announce the passing of Edward Joseph Paul, age 69 of Eskasoni who passed away in his home on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.

Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Stephen J. and Annie (Marshall) Paul. Edward was a member of Holy Family parish.

Edward took great pride in the accomplishments of his grandchildren, Everette, Francine, Nadine, Hugh, Kris, Stephen, Maureen, Celine, Evander, Seven and his ‘Kwis’ Braedon. Edward was a proud great—grandfather to Anderson, Maira, Grace Kelly and baby Doug. He was also proud of his godchildren, Troy Francis, Peter Doerfer and his many nieces, nephews, and his extended family in Membertou.

Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by his former wife and lifelong friend, Frances; a sister, Nancy; brothers, Stephen Paul, Andrew Johnson and Nicholas Paul, whom he missed deeply. He was also predeceased by grandchildren, Colleen and Christian, as well as by his beautiful godchild, Anita Morris, whom he loved dearly.
