New Waterford man pleads guilty to fraud charge
SYDNEY — A New Waterford man is to return to provincial court in December to be sentenced on a charge of fraud. David William Nugent pleaded guilty Wednesday to depositing empty envelopes into a Scotiabank ATM and then withdrawing from the account knowing there was insufficient funds. The offence occurred Sept. 4 in New Waterford. Sentencing is now set for Dec. 10.
