Man to be sentenced on nine charges

SYDNEY — A North Sydney man is now scheduled to be sentenced in December after pleading guilty Tuesday to nine charges. Michael Douglas MacDonald, 32, of Seaview Drive pleaded guilty Tuesday to three counts of theft, two counts of mischief, two counts of breaching court orders and single counts of taking a vehicle without consent and assault. MacDonald is now scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 8.
