Police investigating car-pedestrian collision

SYDNEY — Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating a collision between a motorist and a pedestrian on Tuesday afternoon. The collision happened at about 3:20 p.m. near the intersection of Prince Street and the Esplanade in Sydney and resulted in an 81-year-old woman being taken to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
