‘TIS THE SEASON

This weekend will be among the busiest for community Christmas events, beginning tonight with the Christmas tree lightup in downtown Sydney at 6:30 p.m. and the Louisbourg Santa Claus parade and Christmas tree light-up at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Sydney Santa Claus parade will be held at 6 p.m., the Baddeck Christmas parade will take place at 1 p.m. and Port Hawkesbury’s fourth annual Christmas parade will go ahead at 6 p.m. On Sunday, New Waterford will host its Santa Claus parade at 6 p.m.
