Trial date scheduled on host of offences

SYDNEY — A 35-year-old Glace Bay man was released from custody Friday on conditions after a trial date was set on a host of offences. Daniel James Hurley, 35, of Mechanic Street, is charged with obstruction of justice, break and enter and six counts of breaching court orders. A trial on those charge is set for Jan. 4. Hurley is also scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10 for a status report on the case and is also scheduled back in court Dec. 21 to enter pleas on three counts of breaching court orders.
