Nail found in Nova Scotia potato: RCMP

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating after a shopper in New Glasgow found a nail embedded in a potato. The Mounties say the potato was in a 20-pound bag of Country Magic white potatoes purchased from a Sobeys grocery store. Police say the bag was purchased Nov. 20 by a Pictou County resident.
