Reader unhappy with MLA

In reference to an article in the Cape Breton Post on July 21 (“Making the Pitch”), Northside-Westmount MLA Eddie Orrell blasts the Liberals for lack of support for the Northside recreational facilities.

I could be wrong, but I don’t remember Mr. Orrell speaking out against the sale of Archibald Wharf (another recreational facility).

Yes, he was present during the protests and meetings, but I don’t remember him taking a stand or speaking out.

We had no support from our Northside municipal, provincial and federal representatives even though some of them were present.

Canada Day was sad for me without Archibald Wharf. Evelyn C. Sampson North Sydney
