FINAL LEG CONCLUDES

Matador, skipped by Greg Blunden, captured the ‘A’ class in a corrected time of 3:14:24 to claim the Cibou Cup to conclude Race the Cape on Sunday. In the ‘B’ class, Scott Covey’s Rumblefish took first place in 3:19:59. In the ‘C’ class, Icarus, skipped by Vaughan Merchant, was first in a time of 3:20:46. Yael and skip Frank Elman was tops in the ‘D’ class in 3:55:46, while Morgan “D” with Dean Baldwin at the helm was first in the ‘E’ class in 3:33:54. Overall, Rumblefish was tops in Division 1, while Bruce Flinn’s Patience took first in Division 2. Top overall by class were Matador, Rumblefish, Icarus, Yael and Morgan “D.”
