Four charged in series of break and enters

Two of four people charged in connection with a series of break and enters are scheduled to make provincial court appearance­s this week.

The four, two adult males and two youths (a female and male), now face a total of 37 charges in connection with the crimes that occurred in various location throughout the Cape Breton Regional Municipali­ty.

Scheduled to appear in court today is 18-year-old Dylan Riley MacDonald of Balls Creek, who faces 20 charges, including break and enter, theft over $5,000, possession of stolen property, evading police, and several breaches of probation.

Appearing on Wednesday is 21-year-old James Martin Cameron of Sydney, who is charged with 11 offences, including possession of stolen property, evading police, and several breaches of probation.

Cameron was also previously remanded.

The two youths, a 15-yearold girl and a 16-year-old boy, both from Sydney, are facing a total of six charges, including break and enter and possession of stolen property. They are scheduled to make court appearance at a later date.
