New business for New Waterford company

A New Waterford-based company has formed a partnershi­p with the Sheikh Khalifa Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.

In a press release, released during the eighth annual Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference, Gulnaz Tariq from the Sheikh Khalifa Medical Centre announced a new Global Outcomes Collaborat­ive with Health Outcomes Worldwide in New Waterford, which will involve its point-of-care software applicatio­n, how2 trak® Wound Care.

“I’m very pleased with this partnershi­p with SKMC and the notion of establishi­ng a wound care centre of excellence,” said Corrine McIsaac, founder and CEO of Health Outcomes Worldwide. “This partnershi­p has the potential to support better wound care, significan­t cost savings and an opportunit­y to generate revenue for SKMC.”

How2 trak is available as an app on mobile devices. The app analyzes complex data sets, providing nurses and doctors with more knowledge to help them improve patient care and reduce costs.
