It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Mary E Kehoe on April 9, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Dixon of Dingwall.

Mary loved life and especially being with her family. She worked most of her employed life in the hospitalit­y field, in one way or another, including The Fortress of Louisbourg and the Keltic Lodge. She had a wide range of hobbies from knitting and crocheting to car racing and wrestling. Also her love of music, never missing a Saturday night at Ashby legion, whom she was an associate member, until illness restricted her mobility.

Mary is survived by her longtime partner, Daniel Lynk, whom loved her dearly; daughters, Thelma (Wayne) and Lesa (Greg); sons, Germain (Margie), Jerome (Dawn) and Phillip (Diane); sister, Martina Fitzgerald; brother’s, Louis and Lawrence Dixon; numerous nieces and nephews; grandchild­ren, Stacey, Shauna, Dineen, Jordan, Jillian, Tyler and Victoria; eight great-grandchild­ren and longtime family friend, Susie Young.

Mary was also predecease­d by her first husband, William ‘Billy’ Fitzgerald in 1951; second husband, Phillip Seward Kehoe in 1991; three brothers and three sisters.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebratin­g Mary’s life will be held at St. Theresa’s Church Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11 with Father Lamey officiatin­g.
