It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Gloria Delores Lynk, in her 94th year, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, May 11, 2017 with her family by her side.

Born and raised in New Waterford, Ma was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (McNeil) Manzine.

In her younger years, Ma loved gardening, baking, and making great Italian meals. Every summer she looked forward to camping at Sangaree Island; she loved nature and all it had to offer.

She is survived by her sons, John (Darlene), Russell (Margie), Lennie (Sheila), Alex (Josie), Charles (Mary) and Kevin; daughters, Karen (Phil), Gloria (Nick), Judy (Boyd), Donna (Terry), and Mary (Byron); sister-in-law, June and brother-inlaw, Eddie; 28 grandchild­ren; 38 great-grandchild­ren; four greatgreat-grandchild­ren.

Gloria was predecease­d by her daughter, Kay (Tony); sons, Barry and Rodger; sisters, Margaret, Marie, Della, and Sadie.

At her request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivra­y Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford. A graveside service will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, New Waterford, at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rose ‘Marie’ Kiley announces her passing on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.

Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Marie Jean (Martel) Sampson.

Marie is survived by her loving husband, Patrick of Swan Creek, NB; a son, Bruce Kiley (Brenda) of Halifax, NS; daughters, Trish Kiley (Alex MacLellan) of Palmetto, FL and Jaime Estabrooks (Robert) of French Lake, NB; granddaugh­ters, Melissa Kiley, Jennifer Connolly and Emma Estabrooks; four brothers; three sisters, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marie was predecease­d by two sisters.

There will be a visitation at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oromocto, NB. Interment will take place at a later date.
