North Sydney man jailed for release breach

SYDNEY — A 48-year-old North Sydney man facing sex offences is back in jail charged with breaching his release conditions. Charles Plowman is charged with two counts of sexual assault and a single count of assault. The offences involve a female complainan­t and are alleged to have occurred between May 16-19 in North Sydney. Plowman was released from custody on conditions and was alleged to have breached those conditions. He did manage to secure another release but is now alleged to have violated those conditions.

He is charged with six counts of breaching his release conditions. He made a brief court appearance Friday and is now to have a bail hearing Monday.
