Westmount fisherman found not guilty

SYDNEY — A Westmount man has been found not guilty of fishing for lobsters without valid tags.

Vernon Lee Buchanan, 58, was alleged to have committed the offence Aug. 28, 2016, in Little River, Victoria County.

A second charge of fishing during a closed season was with drawn prior to a trial on the tag offence.
