Becky Smith, left, and Nancy Brewer were among the many members of the Home Crafters of Cape Breton setting up for the Christmas Festival of Crafts on Friday morning at Centre 200 in Sydney. ‘The Big One’ as it is known features 239 tables of crafts and 190 crafters from all around Cape Breton. Last year, more than 8,000 people took in the show and crafters are expecting more this year. The show opened Friday at 2 p.m. and will be open today from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 12-5 p.m.
