Atlantic Memorial Park consulting study:
• The consulting study recently began for phase one of the project, which includes the restoration of the Chapel Point battery site.
• Community meetings have been held by the group and Dillon Consulting, who’s doing the study for the committee.
• The committee has received money from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Membertou First Nation as well as the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage in order to begin the study.
• When the study is complete, it will be presented to CBRM council for their information.
