Coro Cantabile performing in December

GLACE BAY – The women’s choir Coro Cantabile will be performing two concerts in December — one in Sydney and the other in Glace Bay. The group will perform in Glad Tidings For St. George on Friday, Dec. 8, 7:30 p.m., at the Highland Arts Theatre in Sydney. Also appearing at this event will be the Cape Breton Chordsmen and Kevin Colford. Tickets are $20 and are available by calling 902-565-3637. The group will also perform the next night, Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. Ann’s Church, Glace Bay, at 7:30 p.m. Also appearing at this concert will be Barb Stetter, oboe, Jack Roach, guitar, and Doug Johnson, guitar. Tickets are $20 and available at the parish office and at the door.
