WHITE, Donald ‘Duckie’

We, the family of Donnie White, regret to announce his sudden passing in Calgary, Alberta on January 25, 2018 at 55years of age. He was the son of the late John (Boss) and Annie White (nee Shaw). Donnie is survived by sons, Devon (Ashley), Chad, Kyle (Amber) and Kolbie; daughter, Julia, and grandsons, John, Jesse, Spencer, Brody, Marcus and Carson and one granddaugh­ter, Ivy. He is also survived by his brother, Melvin (Mary); sisters, Malitta (Alex), Hazel (Tom), Peggy (Ron), Thelma (David), Dianne (Harry), Marcella and Debbie (Danny);very close friends, Darlene MacNeil, Judy Dawe and his Calgary friends, Pat and Monique, and Netty and her baby Lucy; his only aunt, Anne Mae Leblanc, as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Besides his parents, Donnie was predecease­d by his brother, Charlie; sister-in-law, Betty White; brother-in-law, Kenny MacRae; nieces, Cindy and Angela, and nephews, Nush White, baby Jordie, David Charles Rideout and Allan.

Visitation will take place at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines on Saturday, February 10 from 2 until 3:30 with a funeral service commencing at 3:30 p.m. with Captain Corey Vincent officiatin­g.
