The Junior Miners blanked the Bulldogs 5-0 on Wednesday night in Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League action at the Membertou Sport and Wellness Centre.

Keegan Marcott and Mitchell Johnston both found the back of the net before Josh Perry beat Bulldogs goalie Charles Jensen on a shorthanded penalty shot to close out the frame. Nolan Smith scored midway through the third to make it a 5-0 final.

Levi Denny turned aside all 33 shots he faced for the win, while Jensen stopped 26 pucks in the loss.
