Kathleen “Kathy” Henrich-Cua

It is with heavy hearts, we the family of Kathy Cua announce her passing after a tragic accident near her home in San Clemente, California (CA). She entered her eternal home with God on Feb 24 /18 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born Nov 13/57, Kathy was the daughter of Stan & Kay Henrich. She graduated from RRHS, the VGH School of Nursing and spent 38 years of dedicated service as a RN, first in Texas and then the remainder of her career in CA.

Kathy married Joshua Cua in 1982 and was the loving mother of two cherished sons. Recently, she was blessed with two grandchildren, who brought her joy beyond words.

Kathy, her family and friends, travelled the world over, where she shared her warmth, smile and kindness with everyone. She enjoyed dancing with her sweetheart Josh, hiking, snowboarding, going on RV adventures, sharing time with her dog Brady, and visiting her beloved family in Cape Breton.

She was fun loving, spontaneous and loved gatherings with family and friends. Kathy was a devout Christian and loved her Lord. Due to her generous organ donation, several individuals can continue to enjoy their lives.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Joshua; sons, Jordan (Vanessa) and Brandon; grandchildren, Kaydence and Bodhi-all of CA; her mother, Kay and sister, Joanne Henrich-North West Arm; sister, Colleen (Forrest) McClellan-CA; many cousins in Canada; nieces and nephews-CA. She was predeceased by her father Stan.

A celebration of Kathy ‘s life has taken place at Saddleback Church – CA.

As Kathy would say, “Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
