CAMPBELL, (MacQueen) Annie Belle “Annabelle”

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annabelle at the age of 93. A resident of My Cape Breton Home for Seniors, Westmount, she passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Born on May 16, 1924, in North Framboise, Annabelle was the daughter of the late Neil and Christine (MacIntyre) MacQueen.

Surviving are her daughter, Sarah Jane (Philip), Framboise Intervale; son, Joe, Hamilton, Ont.; sister-in-law, Margie MacQueen, Westmount; grandchild­ren, Kevin (Tina), Steven (Jody), Vicky (Billy), Lynn (Ronnie), Evan (Natasha), Leah (Ben) and Adam (Stephanie); 13 great-grandchild­ren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Annabelle was predecease­d by her sons, Neilan and Lawrence and daughter, Catherine. The last surviving member of the MacQueen clan, she was predecease­d by her sisters, Mary Ann, Sadie and Margaret and brothers, Jimmy, Angus Archie and John James.

Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 19 from 1-2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Pastor Kevin Richardson officiatin­g. Interment in St. Andrew’s Presbyteri­an Church Cemetery, Framboise.
