■ The Simon champions crowned
The seventh annual Simon Chiasson Alumni Basketball Tournament was held March 15-18 at courts across the CBRM. The Sydney Academy Alumni defeated Moncton 65-57 to capture the men’s 35+ title. In the women’s division final, the Memorial alumni defeated the Riverview alumni, 59-51.
